Along with my professional work, I am in my 24th year as a faculty member in the Department of Theatre at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN. Our program is accredited with the National Association of Schools of Theatre - one of only seven 2-year theatre programs in the country to hold this distinction.
Working with my students provides a deep sense of satisfaction and contributes greatly to my growth as an artist. I feel like I learn just as much from them as I hope they do from me.

The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) is a national theater program involving 20,000 students from colleges and universities nationwide annually. For 50 years, the organization has served as a catalyst in improving the quality of college theater in the United States. KCACTF has grown into a network of more than 700 academic institutions throughout the country.
I am currently proudly serving the upper Mid-west region (Region V) as the Chair of the National Playwriting Programs. This position affords me the unique opportunity to work closely with young playwrights from across the country, helping them to develop new work, walking beside them as they find their voices in the landscape of the 21st century American Theatre. It is thrilling work, and I am so grateful for it.
